Health Educator
Duties
and responsibilities: Provide
and manage health education programs that help individuals, families, and their
communities maximize and maintain healthy lifestyles. Collect and analyze data
to identify community needs prior to planning, implementing, monitoring, and
evaluating programs designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, policies, and
environments. May serve as a resource to assist individuals, other healthcare
workers, or the community, and may administer fiscal resources for health
education programs.
Salary:
$58,915
Education:
A minimum of two to four years
of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is needed for these
occupations. For example, an accountant must complete four years of college and
work for several years in accounting to be considered qualified. Most of these
occupations require a four - year bachelor's degree, but some do not. Employees
in these occupations usually need several years of work-related experience,
on-the-job training, and/or vocational training
